Inspired by the beauty of nature in the autumn, this class focuses on learning the process of eco-printing and creating a hand designed and dyed wearable of your own making!
We will spend some time foraging for a variety of fall plants and will then learn the process of contact printing. Participants will create and take home an eco-printed wool scarf by the end of this class. Instructor will provide all materials and supplies.
Day 1: 10am-2pm You will learn to scour and mordant your materials as well as begin foraging for plants that work well for eco-printing. We will make a group print together so that you can experience the process.
Day 2: 10am-2pm You will design and eco print your own wool scarf !
Supply fee: $25 dye materials, and pre-mordanted wool scarf
